Who Are You Listening To?

Welcome to this week’s Hope Blog, inspired by Dr. GreGory sermon, “Spiritual Teachers.”
This message reminded us that discernment matters more than inspiration. In a world full of voices that sound spiritual, God calls us to listen closely—not just to what feels good, but to what leads us closer to Him.
Wisdom doesn’t begin with agreement. It begins with the fear of the Lord. And that fear doesn’t push us away—it grounds us. It teaches us how to live, how to decide, and how to walk with clarity.
We also learned that God’s blessings don’t stop because He runs out—but because we do. When joy feels distant or peace feels crowded out, it may be time to clear some space. Space in our thoughts. Space in our schedules. Space in our hearts.
God fills what’s empty. He pours where there is room. As you go through this week, take a moment to reflect. Where might God be inviting you to make room so His light can guide your steps again?
