From the sermon The Sound of Sand by Dr. GreGory Wendell…
Let’s take a few moments to reflect on this word and how it applies to our everyday walk.
Dr. GreGory shared how, while praying at the ocean, he heard something unusual the sand began to make a sound as the wind moved across it.
Not every sand makes noise. It only happens when there is substance underneath moisture beneath the dryness.
And that’s the picture God painted.
The wind of the Spirit is already blowing. The question isn’t whether God is moving. The question is whether there is enough depth in us for Him to move through.
Sometimes we feel dry on the surface. Tired. Pressured. Stretched.
But beneath that is there foundation? Is there prayer? Is there obedience? Is there surrender?
Dr. GreGory reminded us that the same sand that sings in unity is the same sand that strengthens clay in fire. The pressure didn’t come to destroy you. It came to reinforce you.
Unity creates amplification.
Private shaping prepares public sound.
And when you carry covenant, silence is no longer an option.
