Get In Position: The Blessing Is Scheduled

There’s something powerful about alignment—that moment when your heart, mind, and spirit come into agreement with God’s will. In Sunday’s message, “Get In Position,” Dr. GreGory reminded us that blessings don’t just happen—they’re released when we’re in position. And sometimes, it starts with the small things.
Don’t Miss Your “A”
One of the most impactful moments came when Pastor broke down the phrase “ 'Round Midnight.” That little apostrophe stood out—it meant something had been omitted. The "A" in “around” was missing, and just like that, it became a metaphor for how we often leave out small but critical parts of our spiritual walk.
We sow, but we don’t water.
We pray, but we don’t obey.
We praise on Sunday, but doubt on Monday.
The message was clear: you can’t omit the ingredient and expect the full recipe to work. Just like leaving out the vanilla in a cake—it may look good, but something essential is missing.
Seed + Water = Harvest
Pastor led us through the equation: Seed plus water equals harvest. He urged us not just to sow in the Spirit but to water our seeds with consistency. That means guarding our thoughts, choosing joy, and resisting the urge to dig up what God planted simply because we didn’t see instant results.
God’s blessings are scheduled. But are we in position to receive them?
When the Praises Go Up…
The atmosphere was full of worship. From heartfelt cries of “Flow to You” to declarations like “Nobody but You,” the sanctuary became a space of alignment—where voices and spirits rose together. Dr. GreGory reminded us: when the praises go up, blessings do come down. Not as a transaction, but as a divine response to our surrender.
Get Ready for the Downpour
Even if all you see is a cloud the size of a man's hand—that's enough. Just a micro-dose of vision and a mustard seed of faith can usher in breakthrough.
He challenged us to put the “A” back in 'round—to restore what was missing in our spiritual walk, whether it’s discipline, repentance, consistency, or obedience. Because once you're aligned, the windows of heaven are ready to open.
What’s the hardest part of staying in position for your breakthrough?
Letting go of control
Overcoming doubt
Staying consistent
Waiting patiently
