Autumn Is Here: When God Says “Try It Again”

From the first “Praise the Lord!” to the last “Amen,” the theme was simple and strong: Autumn is here. Seasons are changing—inside us, around us, and for us. And when God announces a season, He supplies the grace to live in it. We didn’t just hear about change; we stepped into it.

God Blocks It—And Gives It Back

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper”. Over and over we sang, “God blocked it!” and something broke in the room. You could feel the church agreeing with heaven, taking back time stolen by worry, joy eaten by stress, resources swallowed by unexpected hits, and returned by the authority of Jesus’ name.

This wasn’t hype; it was spiritual alignment. The Lord reminded us that He’s not only a shield; He’s a Restorer. We don’t negotiate with darkness—we enforce the victory of the cross. If something precious slipped through your fingers in the last season, take your place. Pray it back. Praise it back. Plan like it’s already on the way.

The Power of Your Words

Dr. GreGory reminded us that God does what money can’t. He speaks to winds and waves, rearranges outcomes, and brings provision where logic says “not possible”. That’s why the battle belongs to the Lord, and our assignment is to rest—active rest that believes, obeys, and watches God be God.

Words are not filler; they’re seeds. Every confession plants tomorrow’s harvest. If fear gets your mouth, fear gets your future. But if faith gets your mouth, faith shapes your future. Align your language with His promise and then let God handle the parts only He can do.

Live Right & Be Honest

A holy, practical word cut through: some things we call addictions are actually appetites we’ve kept feeding. The Spirit wasn’t shaming; He was shepherding us into freedom. Honesty is the doorway to transformation: “Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). Confession clears the fog; renewal changes the route. We’re not victims of our patterns; in Christ, we’re more than conquerors.

Be Filled With the Holy Spirit

“Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?'. The invitation was intimate and simple: get quiet before the Lord, ask Him to fill you afresh, and open your mouth—He will change your language and fill you as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4). We need the ink of the Spirit to write the next lines. The filling of the Holy Spirit is for living—new boldness, new love, new fruit (Galatians 5:22–23).

Vision: The Leak, the Rain, and God’s Hand

Dr. GreGory shared a vision: a woman anxious over a costly water leak she couldn’t afford to fix. In the vision, autumn rain softened the ground, the earth shifted, and the leak sealed—without money, by God’s hand. The message landed: there are problems you can’t pay your way out of—but God can move what you can’t reach (Zechariah 4:6).

This was a word for hidden drains—slow leaks of peace, time, or finance. Instead of spiraling, we were urged to invite the Lord into the soil of the situation. When He sends “rain,” it’s not always cash; sometimes it’s favor, a conversation, a small shift that changes everything. Expect gentle interventions that do heavy lifting.

The Comma in the Sky: Try It Again

Pastor shared a vision of a comma appearing in the sky. Not a period. A pause. God’s word: “Try it again.” Some things weren’t denied; they were delayed for development (Habakkuk 2:3). The comma says, “Breathe. Regroup. Resume.” The Lord is timing your testimony for maximum impact. Waiting isn’t wasted when God is in it (Psalm 27:14).

This encouraged the doers and the discouraged. Make the phone call. Resubmit the application. Reopen the conversation. Not with striving, but with fresh grace. Heaven’s punctuation changes the meaning of the sentence.
