From the sermon “Frame Your Words” by Dr. GreGory Wendell
This week’s message brought us back to something we use every single day… but don’t always think about—our words.
Dr. GreGory reminded us that we’re not just talking—we’re framing our lives.
The Bible says the worlds were framed by the Word of God. That means what we see didn’t start with what was visible—it started with what was spoken.
And the same is true for us.
Every word we speak is doing something.
It’s not just sound—it’s direction. It’s not just expression—it’s construction.
What we say is shaping our mindset, influencing our atmosphere, and building what we will eventually see.
That’s why we have to be careful not to speak casually, especially in moments of frustration or pressure. Because even when we don’t mean it… we still sent it.
But here’s the good news—God gives us grace to reset.
We’re not stuck in what we said yesterday.
We can realign our words with His truth today.
And when we do that, we begin to build differently.
