I pray you’re having a great day, if not this will cheer you up for sure. Today, I thought we should laugh and have a little fun – not so serious. I'll share stories I’ve experienced while growing up in a Pastor’s home. Ohhh Yeahhh…..I’ve much to tell. Ta-ha-sa-ma mercy Lord, the glory, hallelujah and stuff – don’t be so serious I’m just playing.
Once upon a time in a city called Phoenix, which is almost as hot as what Jesus calls HELL, the Newman home phone rang with an emergency. To my dismay it was a precious choir member in great distress – heavy in spirit. They said, “Bishop please pray, I don’t know what to do, every time I dance before God in the choir stand I start passing atrocious gas and I know it’s offending the other choir members. What should I do?” Bishop replied, “Well, drink more water.”
Friends, I kid you not – that’s a true story. However, my response would have been, “Next time sit down and just clap.” Actually, I was the Minister of Music at the time – I thought I’d heard an extra drum roll. Enough of my comedy! Laugh my friends…Laugh…Laugh!
