Stay Where God Is Moving

Elder Robert Sanders reminded Hope Assembly of a simple but powerful truth: Do not break the flow.
God has been building something through the love, unity, worship, teaching, and fellowship of this ministry. That work does not stop when a familiar person is absent or when a Sunday feels different. God’s Spirit is still moving.
The flow cannot be stopped—but we can allow distractions, offenses, disappointment, or inconsistency to pull us away from it.
Staying in the flow is an everyday decision. It means continuing to pray while we wait, worship when circumstances change, and trust when God redirects our plans. It means celebrating someone else’s blessing without becoming envious and remaining connected to our church family beyond the moments that are most convenient.
Sometimes staying in the flow looks very practical. It may mean remaining for fellowship, checking on another member, continuing to serve, or giving leadership room to rest. It may simply mean refusing to let one uncomfortable moment disconnect us from what God is doing.
Elder Sanders also reminded us that our promises have not expired. God is not running late. Even delays, disappointments, and closed doors can help position us for His purpose.
And if we recognize that we have drifted, God’s invitation is still open: come back into the flow.
