Do You Hear What I Hear: The Power of God's Perfect Timing

Dr. GreGory's message sparks a moment of reflection on how to discern the voice of God from the noise of confusion and darkness. The Scriptures counsel us to "test the spirits" to ensure they are of God. Over time, as we walk with Christ, we learn to distinguish between the true voice of the Lord and the deceptive whispers of the adversary.

In the journey of faith, physical strength alone is insufficient. It's spiritual strength that truly empowers one to navigate life's challenges. The Bible reminds us that while physical exercise has its benefits, spiritual growth is of far greater significance. As we mature in our faith, we learn the importance of remaining grounded and unshaken when storms come our way.

The pivotal moment in Dr. GreGory's message came when he revealed that God had spoken both messages simultaneously. "I've chosen you, be calm." These words were delivered in perfect harmony, demonstrating God's immense power. The divine message is clear: God can accomplish what we cannot, and when He says, "be calm," it's an instruction to remain spiritually grounded.

Drawing from the imagery of a tree planted by the rivers of water, the message emphasizes the importance of preparing one's heart to receive God's word. The well-prepared soil of the heart yields the desired spiritual fruit. As believers we have to cultivate our spiritual life through prayer, fasting, and meditation on God's Word.

The message also touched on the importance of discerning the adversary's influence. While God speaks truth and prosperity, the adversary seeks to bring confusion, doubt, and discord. By maintaining a strong spiritual foundation, we can confidently reject the enemy's attempts to mislead us.

Dr. GreGory also introduced the concept of "time slipping", reflecting how God operates outside our understanding of time. The scripture reminds us that time is relative to God, and one day to Him can be as a thousand years and vice versa. This divine perspective on time allows God to work all things at once, perfectly orchestrating events for our benefit.

The narrative of Paul and Silas in the prison at midnight serves as a powerful example of God's perfect timing. Amid their darkest hour, they prayed and sang hymns to God. Suddenly, an earthquake shook the prison, and all the doors were opened, and everyone's chains were unfastened simultaneously, all at once.

"I've chosen you, be calm" is a reminder of God's incredible power and His ability to do all things at once. It urges us to trust in His perfect timing, to be grounded in faith, and to discern His voice in the midst of life's challenges.
