COVERED IN GRACE

Have you ever watched snow fall and noticed how it covers everything—rooftops, roads, even trash on the ground? Suddenly, the landscape looks clean, peaceful, and untouched. But beneath that beauty, there's a truth: snow is a witness. It tells a story. It covers, yes—but it also reflects.
This week’s message by our Pastor Dr. GreGory reminded us: God doesn’t just forgive us. He transforms us. And that transformation can be seen—just like snow.
The sermon opened with a charge:“If you’re going to live, take the sheet off!” We can’t fully walk in freedom while still covered in shame, fear, or insecurity. That sheet—whatever it is for you—needs to come off. Not only do we need to come out, but we need to fold it and put it away. Don’t go back to it. Don’t keep it close just in case. When God sets you free, move like it.
One phrase that stood out was: “God is quick and powerful!” He doesn’t need years to work a miracle. When your heart is open and your spirit is willing, God can shift your situation instantly.
We were reminded that there is double for your trouble and triple for your trauma. God is a God of recompense. He doesn’t just restore you to where you were—He promotes you beyond it.
And here’s the key: “Use what you know about God and impress Him.” It’s not enough to recite scriptures; we must live them. As the message said, “Don’t just use the scripture—do it!”
That brought us to Isaiah 1:18:
“Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.”
God’s forgiveness isn’t a surface rinse—it’s a total covering. But just like snow forms through a process in the clouds, there’s often a process to our purification. Snow turns around impurities and reflects light in every direction.
Even nature understands what grace looks like. It doesn’t erase the past—it reflects God’s goodness through it. That means your story, your pain, your growth—it all reflects light now. You don’t have to hide it.
Maybe you’ve been feeling like you’re in limbo. Like you’ve been floating, unsure of where you are. But the word was clear:“You’re not floating anymore. You’re not lost in the process. You’ve landed in your purpose."
Hebrews 12:1 tells us to lay aside every weight and run with endurance. So ask yourself:
“What do you have highlighted?” Is it your mistakes, or God’s mercy? Your past, or His promises?
Here’s what we can walk away with:
Our past doesn’t write our future.
God’s love has no limit. Period.
Failure is not your ending. It’s part of your witness.
Just like snow, your life is a testimony. And when God steps in—it reflects light everywhere.
Which part of the message hit home the most for you?
Snow doesn’t hide the mess—it reflects God’s glory through.
God is quick and powerful!
Triple for your Trauma!
Don’t just use the Scripture—Do it!
