What Are You Reflecting When Life Gets Hard?

This week at Hope Assembly, Dr. GreGory Wendell reminded us of something powerful: when life brings a battle, we can face it with God's Word.
His message was called, "Show The Enemy The Mirror."
Pastor explained how silver goes through a refining process before it can clearly reflect an image. And sometimes, our lives go through a refining process too.
We experience disappointments, delays, and moments when things simply don't turn out the way we expected. But those experiences don't have to destroy our faith. They can become opportunities for us to grow.
Pastor also reminded us that what feels like being stuck may actually be God's protection.
Think about that. That door that hasn't opened. That opportunity that hasn't worked out. That answer you've been waiting to receive.
Could God be protecting you while He's preparing you?
Sometimes the greatest expression of faith is having the courage to say, "I'm going to trust God's direction, even when another way looks easier."
So as you go through this week, pay attention to what you're reflecting.
When frustration comes, reflect patience.
When fear shows up, reflect faith.
When the pressure to compromise comes, choose obedience.
And when life gets difficult, hold on to what God has said.
Because the mirror we're holding up isn't our own strength.
It's the truth of God's Word.
As you continue your everyday walk with God, take a moment to reflect:
What do you need to remind yourself about God's Word when life gets difficult?\
