📌 Scenario for Reflection
Louis had been praying for a new job for months, but every opportunity seemed to fall through. He started to wonder if God had forgotten him. One day, he heard the sermon about how God’s blessings are often on pre-order—already set aside and coming at the right time.
Encouraged, Louis chose to stay faithful in prayer and preparation instead of giving in to discouragement. A few weeks later, he got a call for an interview at a company he hadn’t even applied to. The job was better than he imagined—higher pay, great benefits, and exactly what he had been praying for.
💡 Lesson:
God’s blessings aren’t delayed—they’re divinely scheduled. Just because you don’t see movement doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Stay faithful, stay expectant, and trust that your blessing is already on the way.
Why do we sometimes feel like God’s blessings are delayed?
We focus on our timing instead of God’s
We don't believe God is really working behind the scene
Doubt and discouragement creep in
God is positioning us for something even greater
💬 Discussion Question for Comments:
Have you ever received something from God that seemed delayed but ended up being exactly what you needed at the right time? How did it strengthen your faith?
The lesson, while painful, was exactly what I needed. I am so thankful now that I look back!!
