Embracing a New Way

In today's world, where technology often connects us more than physical proximity, Dr. GreGory’s recent sermon challenges us to rethink how we share the message of Christ. He began by recounting a vivid dream where God revealed a profound truth: feeding a baby milk through a cell phone. This image serves as a powerful metaphor for our current approach to ministry. Many people are glued to their cell phones, and this is where we can meet them. God is using modern technology as a vessel to reach His people, and we are called to embrace it without shame.

The Digital Mission Field

Pastor emphasized that many individuals may never step foot in a church building, yet they are seeking spiritual nourishment online. As followers of Christ, it is imperative that we present ourselves in a Godly manner across digital platforms. Our conduct online should reflect the love and kindness that God demands of us. In a world filled with noise, negativity, and confusion, our actions must resonate with the light of Christ, guiding the lost to Him.

Releasing Trauma

In addition to our digital mission, Dr. GreGory tackled a deeply personal topic: the need to detach from our past traumas. He shared how an old choir platform was in the church that represented remnants of hurt, jealousy, and manipulation that had once taken root. God revealed to him that these lingering spirits could not remain. God urged him to remove the physical reminder of trauma and trash the platform. Pastor urged us as well to be willing to let go of our emotional burdens and any physical remnants of our past that wants to hinder our growth. The act of letting go allows us to step into a new identity—one that is free from the shadows of our past.

Cultivating Godly Conduct

Throughout his sermon, Pastor reminded us that love and kindness are not merely suggestions; they are demands from God. We are called to cultivate a spirit of grace in all our interactions, whether online or offline. Our conduct should serve as a beacon of hope and a reflection of Christ's love.

As we navigate our relationships and our online presence, we must be vigilant. Our kindness can bridge gaps and reach hearts that have been closed off, demonstrating that the church is not confined to four walls but is a living, breathing entity present in every corner of the digital world.

Conclusion

As we move forward, let us heed Dr. GreGory's call to adapt our approach to ministry. By embracing technology, maintaining Godly conduct, and releasing the grip of trauma, we can fulfill our mission to win the lost for Christ.
