About the Recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks butter (softened ) 2 tsp. vanilla

2 c. unbleached flour 1T. water

2 c. chopped pecans 1/2 tsp. salt

5 T. sugar


Preheat oven to 325°. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and water, set

aside. Sift flour and salt together, blend into butter mixture, add nuts

and mix thoroughly. Shape into rounded balls, place on cookie sheet

and bake for 20 minutes. Let cool then roll into powdered sugar.
