About the Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup milk

1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup butter 1/2 tsp salt

1 cup sugar 1/4 cup sugar

1/2 lemon grated (rind)

2 eggs beaten


Stir flour and baking powder. Cream butter; add 1 cup sugar 1/2 lemon

rind. Cream until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately

with milk. Stir in nuts. Mix 1/2 lemon rind and 1/4 cup sugar and sprinkle on top.

Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes. Yields 10
