Ingredients
1 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. of cream cheese
softened 3 c. unsifted flour
1 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup brown sugar packed 1/2 tsp. salt
2 lg. eggs 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 tsp. vanilla
Heat oven to 375°. Stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl,
beat butter and cream cheese with sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until
creamy and lightened in color. Add eggs and vanilla, one at a time. Mix on low speed
until incorporated. Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate
chips. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or
until golden brown.
