CHICKEN FETTUCCINE ALFREDO

About the Recipe

Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken 3 T all purpose flour

breasts 1/2 tsp salt

1 onion chopped 1/4 tsp ground pepper

2 garlic cloves minced 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tsp vegetable oil 1 pkg of fettuccine pasta

2 cups of milk 1 (16 oz) package frozen

1 cup chicken broth broccoli florets


In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic

and saute until golden brown,also add in chicken cut into strips,. In a

small saucepan, stir together milk, chicken broth, flour, salt and pepper

over a low heat until smooth and thick. Stir into onion, garlic and chicken mixture.

Continue to cook over medium low heat, stirring frequently, until sauce is

thick. Str in Parmesan cheese. Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling water

Follow fettuccine pkg instructions. Add broccoli to the pasta for the last

several minutes of cooking. Continue cooking until pasta is al dente. Drain

the pasta and broccoli and transfer to a large bowl Toss with sauce and serve.
