About the Recipe


10 country style pork ribs 1 lemon, thinly sliced

2 tsp minced garlic Brown Sgugar BBQ Sauce

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In a baking dish or roaster, place ribs in a single layer,

salt and pepper if desired. Spread the garlic on the ribs, then place the lemon slices on top

of the ribs. Bake for 2 hours - the ribs will be tender. Drain any grease and liquid. Make

BBQ Sauce using ingredients below. Pour some of the BBQ Sauce over the ribs. Return

to the oven and bake for another 1 1/2 hours at 200 to 250 degrees. Serve with BBQ Sauce

if additional sauce is needed.

Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce

2 cups ketchup 1 1/2 T Worcestershire sauce

1 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke

1 tsp lemon zest 2 tsp dry mustard

6 T fresh lemon juice 1 tsp onion powder

3 T molasses 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and wisk to mix. Gradually bring to a simmer

over medium heat and let simmer until thick and flavorful (15-20 minutes). Taste for

seasoning and add more seasoning if needed. BBQ sauce can be refrigerated for

several weeks.
